How do I benefit from Navy Federal Investments & Insurance?

Navy Federal members can expand their financial horizons beyond the traditional credit union products. Investment and brokerage services (stocks, bonds, mutual funds) are available through a Navy Federal financial representative. Also available are certain kinds of insurance, including automobile insurance.

What kinds of products and services are offered?

Investment services, which include trading in stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, as well as access to online trading orders, are available through a Navy Federal financial representative.

Navy Federal Investments & Insurance also features various other insurance products, including Whole and Term Life, annuities, Long-Term Care insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance. In addition, Navy Federal Investments & Insurance offers auto insurance through GEICO®, a leading national insurer known for its low rates and first-class service, with an extra discount for qualifying Navy Federal members.

If I have an account with Navy Federal, do I automatically get an account at Navy Federal Investments & Insurance?

No. They are two separate entities. You may use a Navy Federal Credit Union account as your clearing account for security trades.

How can Navy Federal members take advantage of Navy Federal Investments & Insurance?

The products and services made available through Navy Federal Investments & Insurance include Internet brokerage, investments such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, variable life, long-term care insurance and AD&D insurance. Free rate quotes for GEICO auto insurance, available in all of the United States except Massachusetts and New Jersey, may be found on a link on our Web site.

Is there a fee to meet with a financial representative?

As a Navy Federal member, you will be entitled to a no-cost, no-obligation financial consultation with a financial representative. Together, you will develop a financial plan that best meets your needs and your future plans.

Will the information I provide be kept confidential?

Navy Federal is committed to protecting the privacy information that you have entrusted to us. No lists of Navy Federal Credit Union or Navy Federal Investments & Insurance members will ever be given or sold to any outside organization.
